British brides and stylists constantly amaze me with their skill in combining vintage and modern. Today I have a shoot which does this soooo well: set in the luxurious Biggleswade Mansion House and showcasing the work of a lovely group of local Hertfordshire wedding suppliers – this is fab.
Images are by the very lovely Lucy Rose Photography.
Lucy told me “the shoot was 1920’s inspired with a beautiful fitted beaded dress and bold make-up on one model and a 1950’s champagne calf length dress on the other model. The wintery weather left a light scattering of snow on the ground which made a great seasonal feel to the shoot and gave the venue a lovely warm tone in the photographs.”
“In the tranquil Hertfordshire countryside stands the elegant Mansion house. Built in the 1870s and filled with 19th century paintings, it was the perfect location and took my breath away the first time I visited.”
Please see the full supplier list below, especially if you’re getting married in Hertfordshire and looking for local suppliers. With huge thanks to all involved in this beautiful styled shoot, and especially to Lucy Rose Photography for the submission.
