A quintessentially English wedding at Bibury Court, overflowing with flowers!

Good morning lovelies! I have a wonderfully English luxury wedding to share with you today. Sarah and Alec opted for a very traditional style for their day, which was filled to the brim with beautiful white and pastel florals and delicately pretty but opulent design.

Sarah is beautiful in a Sassi Holford wedding dress, and Alec her perfect partner in a formal morning suit. Bridesmaids wore bespoke dresses in a soft, mint green. Every detail is meticulously designed, as you’d expect – this wedding was submitted by Jane from Planned for Perfection.

Flowers were very important to us so Jane and Clare helped create a perfect ambience for our wedding day.

Clare designed a beautiful floral entrance to the marquee and the gorgeous floral arrangements in the church, marquee and the Manor House

DIY – tell us about any handcrafted elements of your wedding…

Alec’s mother wrote the place cards to incorporate the ‘fish’ element for Alec, and Lucy Ledger designed our fabulous table plan!

The wedding cake: traditional or quirky?

Traditional made by Curtis and Co Cakes – looked gorgeous and tasted delicious!

Entertainment:

The Wedding Smashers

On the day tips and advice:

Have a wedding planner – Jane Riddell was absolutely amazing – www.plannedforperfection.co.uk

Don’t try and cram in too many formal photos as you’ll miss spending time with your guests

Definitely have a videographer   – we loved our wedding video and had really debated whether to have one or not (as my husband was quite opposed to the idea initially)

What’s the best thing about being married?

Being able to call your other half your husband!
