Wedding inspiration doesn’t get any more exciting… with an amazing team, big ideas and incredible styling talents today’s styled shoot is out of this world. It has all of my most favourite things: creatively messy oversized flowers, great big glowing lightbulb stars, fabulous photography, divine dress detailing and exquisite photography…
The best thing about today’s shoot – as with every shoot I feature – is that it could be all yours. Shoots are all about showing couples how amazing a wedding can look when you hire the right team to style your wedding day. Every supplier featured today comes very highly recommended because I’ve seen and loved their work over and over again.
Whether you choose a single statement piece – a shining star, a stunning bouquet, a dress dripping with back jewels – or a combination of the elements from the shoot, you’re guaranteed wow factor. Personally I would start with the flowers… Katie Laura is one of the best wedding florists I’ve seen on blogs this year and she’s going to be ridiculously popular, I just know it!
The shoot is in two parts and themed Day & Night. The daytime look is natural and light, softer and more delicate… and as night falls the styling becomes more glamorous and opulent, with rich, indulgent colours.
It’s so beautiful I can’t describe this in words… time to show you the images, which are by brilliant wedding photographer Tiree Dawson. The full list of suppliers is here – they’re based around the north west and are all outstanding at what they do.

A winter styled wedding shoot: from Day…
For the bouquet Katie used plenty of foliage like Eucalyptus, Mimosa & Pistache “simply because I love it & I wanted to achieve a natural feel but completely oversized bridal bouquet brimming full with texture using my recently decided favourite roses Upper Secret with other favourites of Scabious, spray Rose Bombastic and wild american oats.”
“The wild floral heart was so fun to make from scratch, completely bespoke & I wanted it to be big & full of many materials including hints of crab apples, Astrantia, Oak leaf & overall brimming full of greenery.”
“I love this shot of Aimee wearing my flower necklace, specifically the Bombastic spray rose, so fabulous & expensive! I love floral necklaces – they’re the next big trend, step aside floral crowns, please!”
… into Night
The floral cascade is divine – and so versatile for a statement piece! Katie said, “Something like this would be amazing for a banquet style wedding reception or a simpler version for that grand fireplace or even at the bottom of the beautiful venue staircase.”
