Hey there beach brides! Today’s feature is for you – from our own fair shores I have a fabulous seaside styled shoot to share. There are ideas here for every girl who’d love a beach wedding – and all from local wedding suppliers too!
Wedding photographer Charlotte Bryer-Ash told me what inspired her to create this shoot, which she planned together with Rachel from Exquisitely You. It’s all about clean, minimal styling with a relaxed seaside feel. I adore the backdrop – a simple timber frame with soft fabric is just perfect for the beach setting.
Being a beach bride means embracing nature. Combine rustic elements for a minimal and relaxed wedding style. Soft colours and textures reflect the romance of the sea. Clair Lythgoe uses a lush peach dahlia as a centrepiece for a stunning bridal bouquet edged with cascading green amaranthus. Opt for wooden cake stands and table decor as the team did on today’s shoot, and be creative with your cake if you’re having one. Twists of raffia complement roses and hydrangeas for a gorgeous design with colours and textures.
Charlotte told me she and Rachel from Exquisitely You (wedding planner/stylist) got together to come up with some ideas for a shoot. Charlotte was keen to collaborate with local Dorset wedding suppliers, using the amazing beach from her home town as the backdrop to their end-of-summer shoot. “My main vision for the shoot was to have clean, simple styling, with a slight boho feel but not to be overtaken with a beach theme. With pastel colours, a gorgeous flower crown, a new grey/blue suit (provided by Well Groomed), and a beautiful but affordable Monsoon wedding dress I loved photographing this shoot!”
