Love is a story. Falling in love happens over time, changes as we do, grows and becomes both stronger and more gentle. For everyone, love is the story of a lifetime. Who knows where we’ll be in ten years, twenty, fifty or more. Today I’m here to tell you a love story, inspired by a real couple’s wartime romance.

The Love Story
The shoot was greatly inspired by the photographer’s Grandad who recently lost his wife. He is unfortunately now losing his eye sight and is dictating over the phone his memoirs so that his life story and their love story is never lost. This shoot re-tells a part of their story. A story about a young couple who have just got married but he has been posted away from home. They say a fond farewell at the train station before he is whisked away from his young bride.
