Morning everyone! Did you have a lovely weekend? I hope so – and I hope you managed to escape from the rain just a little… luckily for me I’ve been busy inside making lots of paper flowers, calligraphy decorations and plans because today I’m on a styled shoot at Broadoaks Country House in the Lake District. It’s been far too long since I’ve had a play day at work, so I’ve gathered together some of the most talented and creative people I know to bring you an inspiring and fun shoot… which you’ll see sneak peeks of very soon indeed!
This morning we’re styling a display table and a backdrop to show you alternatives to decorating every single table at your wedding… we’re starting with a very pretty vintage and handcrafted setup, and then we’re going to trash it just for fun and show you some more ideas for alternative, statement wedding styling.
Watch my facebook page for updates through the day – if we have internet access(!) I’ll be sharing some behind the scenes photos with you as a little teaser. To come in the next few weeks and months I’ll add supplier tips and interviews, DIY projects for some of the things I’ve made, styling ideas for our ‘paper and mirrors’ theme and lots more.
Have a brilliant day – I promise you a fabulous real wedding on the blog tomorrow!
what do you think?
