Hello! Are you having a lovely day? I hope you have wonderful things planned for the weekend… I know I do, as I get to see my favourite sister, her lovely hubby and my gorgeous little nephew too! But first, a little wedding loveliness for you courtesy of wedding stationery designer Heather Marten. Heather’s lifelong love of “arty stuff and stationery” led to her launching her own wedding stationery business in 2001 – and she’s never looked back!

Heather Marten’s Folk Art wedding stationery collection is right up my street! This design is called ‘Vintage Fete’ – with bunting like a little rainbow, bird illustrations and deliciously curvy ‘handwritten’ style fonts… it’s my favourite from a pretty impressive collection!
I’ve said it many times before, but it’s really important to me: your wedding is the perfect opportunity to support small, independent businesses and Heather Marten is one of those which comes very highly recommended. Heather has 25 stockists and even sells her fabulous stationery in Paris… which is pretty awesome, is it not?!
I’ll be showing you more from Heather very soon, but in the words of Mary Poppins (nearly; I think?!) these are a few of my favourite things…

Another design from Heather Marten’s Folk Art wedding stationery collection, this damask flower design is rich and creative, affordable but with the hand-illustrated style which is so popular for 2014 – I love it!

The Brompton collection is pure elegance: contemporary block type with organza ribbon in a choice of colours and with many options for personalising your design – beautiful!

… and a final sneak peek at Heather Marten’s Folk Art collection: this design is inspired by the seaside (of course!) and features a lighthouse illustration and lots of cute little fishies, turtles and starfish… what’s not to adore?!
Heather Marten’s wedding stationery collections are really beautiful and you can’t help but find something you love in her online wedding invitation shop. Find out more…
