The details from Daniella and Scott’s Saddleworth Hotel wedding are just divine. As wedding coordinators they knew their venue inside out, and chose a sparkly winter wedding theme to make the most of the spectacular venue. Daniella’s dress is stunning – a Manuel Mota design with intricate beading.
Images of the day are by the fabulous Pixies in the Cellar wedding photography, whose magic touch brings the atmosphere and elegance of the wedding celebrations to life in their wedding photography. With congratulations to the gorgeous bride and groom, and thanks to the Pixies for sharing such an incredible wedding with us today. Enjoy!
Our wedding report: Daniella & Scott
Wedding photographer’s website:
Were you pleased with your wedding photographer?
Absolutely delighted, stunning with some really unexpected wow shots!
The Saddleworth Hotel, Delph.
Can you describe your wedding in a single sentence?
A completely magical day I wish I could relive again and again.
What was your reaction to seeing your wedding photos for the first time?
Jaw dropping. Peter and Sara captured the spirit of the day beautifully and those evening shots are to die for!
Your wedding style and theme:
Any happy tears on the day?
I was remarkably controlled throughout the day, the whole experience was a just so overwhelming.
How did the two of you meet?
We met whilst Daniella was working for a engineering company and Scott would call in and buy equipment.
How long did you spend planning your wedding?
We spent the better part of 2013 planning our wedding. We are wedding planner/coordinators for The Saddleworth Hotel, I assumed this would be of benefit, but planning your own wedding is just an emotional roller coaster!! I’ll have far more empathy for wedding couples that come through our doors from now on.
Best bit of budget advice?
Go for it, don’t restrict yourself to a limited budget, this is your day so shine!
Wedding invitations and on the day stationery:
We had a caricaturist create an image of me, Scott and our daughter Scarlett. Printed at a local printer we regularly use (Taylor & Clifton), they were fab!
Did you fall in love with your wedding dress?
Oh did I! My dress was a Manuel Mota, the highlight to my wedding day.
Glitz and sparkle: the bride’s accessories:
Our wedding rings are by Cartier.
The groom wore:
Beautiful bridesmaids: what did your best girls wear?

We chose Claire Ardern from Harry Jon
Kelly Louise Chapman
The fabulous ballroom at The Saddleworth Hotel.
The best man’s speech is our highlight here, Lord Errock delivered a stunning and very amusing speech. I also must thank all the staff at The Saddleworth Hotel for an amazing Job. William Regan for the food. John Arthurs and Jacob Regan for running the day. Flawless!
General styling – did your venue need much decoration?
The Saddleworth Hotel is a gorgeous venue and needs very little adding. Kelly Louise silver and white roses with their glitter and Swarovski crystals was all that was needed.
The wedding cake: traditional or quirky?
A 12 tier cake with lots of sparkle.
An opera singer for the ceremony, A caricaturist for the guests during the day, a soft play area for the children and the best DJ for the evening disco.
On the day tips and advice:
Try to remember to relax and enjoy the day, not spend to much time worrying if everybody else is having fun and enjoying the day.
What’s the best thing about being married?
Being part of your own little family, as well as extending your existing family.
