Vintage Cambridgeshire wedding blog Paul Rogers Photography (9)I had so much fun blogging Kirsten and Neal’s 1950s inspired Cambridgeshire wedding. It had everything… a VW Campervan, wildflowers, cupcakes and 7 tiers of cheese, awesome dance moves and the proudest dad… Photo credit London wedding photographer Paul Rogers.

Norfolk wedding blog by Lifeline Photography (13)
Hannah and Sam were blog stars thanks to Lifeline Photography – the very amazing Hannah Webster – who shared their Midsomer Murders-inspired wedding with us in July! It’s wonderful, with plenty of ideas to inspire you as well as a John Cleese impersonator. Nice to see something a little different to your average magician, hehe!

Liz & Stephen booked Pixies in the Cellar to photograph their Lake District wedding – which means they have some truly amazing images of their romantic vintage inspired wedding day. It’s absolutely stunning so do click on the link to see more!

Katie and Matt really are a match made in heaven, and I adored their teepee wedding with lots of rustic and inspiring special touches. Katie told me, “we tried to keep it as country bumpkin as possible!” That has to be one of my favourite quotes all year! Photography credit Barrie Downie

Staffordshire country house wedding Rob Sarah Gillespie (40)Stunning bride Katy and gorgeous groom Tom styled their country house wedding with a nod to their local history and delicate touches inspired by Staffordshire pottery. Their home made wedding cake is an absolute triumph – you’ll love it! With gorgeous images and tons of pretty details photographed by lovely Rob and Sarah Gillespie.

rustic outdoor wedding UK photography Dafydd Hughes (50)Lisa and Neil’s rustic outdoor wedding with vintage touches melted my heart. Lisa’s dress was by Justin Alexander, and the lace back detailing is exquisite! Cotswold wedding photographer Dafydd Hughes very kindly shared their wedding images with the blog.

Neale James Photographer vintage travel wedding vespas (1)This review of the year wouldn’t be the same without a Vespa wedding! I ride a Vespa so it’s pretty awesome when creative couples like Gary and Heather share their weddings on my blog! Their vintage travel wedding ticked all the boxes for me – they chose a superb wedding photographer, Neale James, and my lovely friend Joanne from Vintage Twee made their on the day stationery.

rustic Powys wedding Pixies in the Cellar (32)Clare and Ian’s wedding knocked my socks off, so much that I changed my wedding blog header to include one of their beautiful images by North West wedding photographers Pixies in the Cellar. The gorgeous couple chose a rustic theme for their wedding in Powys (yep, Wales, I know… but the English Wedding Blog knows no bounds!) You absolutely have to see this beautiful rustic wedding.

Paul Underhill Dorset Wedding blog (1)

Some weddings just have that special extra little bit of magic. Sometimes it’s in the images, or in the stories my brides and grooms tell me. Other times there’s a gorgeous detail which wins me over, something I’ve never seen before or a special touch which is really personal to the bride and groom. Sometimes it’s just everything… as with Claire and Jim, whose relaxed and intimate wedding in Dorset has an amazing atmosphere, and just looks wonderful.
