While many brides find it’s best to hire someone to take care of hair and make up for all the girls on the day, a little practice beforehand can give you the confidence to perfect your own bridal look. With the right products and techniques (oh! YouTube is definitely your friend for bridal make up tutorials too!) you can DIY the perfect wedding make up. Top 3 wedding make up tips

by David Peck-Whiston, www.david-peck.com

1. Primer…

This is a makeup bag must have for weddings. Using a primer will allow longevity of your makeup without having to re-apply giving you more time to celebrate.

Choosing the right primer for your wedding day is easy!! Opt for a photofinish Primer giving you flawless, picture perfect skin….

2. Lip Stain…

For a longlasting lipcolour opt for a lipstain with the option of adding a balm/gloss over the top to perfect your pout. Lipstains are great as they will do what they say: stain your lips without any smudging…

This will stay in place until you apply a makeup remover. I recommend to look into lipcare and preparation prior to the big day, invest in MAC‘s lip conditioner. It’s my must have product which I use on all of my clients!!

3. Semi-Permanent

There is nothing worse than having the worry of smudging and clumpy lashes on your big day. Opt for a pre-wedding pamper and book yourself in to your nearest beauty salon for lash extensions and tinting. This will give your eyes plenty of definition without having to wear heavy mascaras!
