Hello there everyone! Oh my, I can’t believe how quickly this week is flying by! I’m trying so hard not to count the days until Christmas… yikes!! I’m looking for lots of real weddings and ideas to feature over the festive period so please do get in touch if you have anything you’d like me to share on the English Wedding Blog. For today though, I have some gorgeous wedding invitations to show you.
I was so pleased when lovely Joanne from Vintage Twee got in touch with me to ask for a little calligraphy on her wedding invitations for Lance and Lisa. I’ve always loved Jo’s work – she sells on Etsy and from her online boutique at VintageTwee.com. I’m the proud owner of a few of her wonderful creations myself! I keep my calligraphy nibs in Jo’s exquisitely crafted wedding favour boxes – they’re adorable!
These are some of Jo’s Pretty English Wedding Invitations, which she sells at Etsy.com/shop/vintagetwee. They’re just so lovely! (And if I say so myself, the handwritten calligraphy names add the perfect finishing touch!)
Vintage Twee’s Pretty English invitations are perfect for anyone planning a vintage or afternoon tea themed wedding! The cream inserts are presented in a lovely bundle, which have been tied together with lace and embellished with a string of pearls and a tea rose. They contain a kraft brown tag attached to the front printed with the text ‘Wedding Invitation’. These invitations come with a kraft brown mailing envelope and an ivory RSVP envelope The invitation contains 3 inserts: main invitation, information card and RSVP card plus 2 envelopes (mailing and RSVP).
If you’re getting married in 2014 it’s definitely time to order your wedding invitations – and both Jo and I would love to hear from you! Browse designs from Vintage Twee at www.vintagetwee.com and explore my calligraphy website at http://calligraphy-for-weddings.com!
