Find real weddings at your favourite local venues with the English Wedding Blog

Hello there! Welcome once again to new wedding blog readers, congratulations and best of luck with your exciting wedding planning adventures! I know wedding blogs are all different, and sometimes it’s easy to miss features and ideas on your favourite blogs. I’ve done my best to make the English Wedding Blog really easy to use, and really relevant for you too – so you can search for weddings in your region, at the time of year you’re getting married, even at your own wedding venue or by your favourite photographer. Here’s how it works!

Real weddings by English county or UK region

In the top menu bar of the English Wedding Blog you can find real weddings either by wedding style (vintage, contemporary etc.) and find real weddings by county (listed in alphabetical order). If you’re a bride-to-be in Cornwall, for example, you can click on the Cornwall Weddings link to see weddings I’ve featured near you! (Here’s one I made earlier)

The great thing about this is you can find wedding suppliers in your area. Every wedding I feature has links to the couple’s chosen photographer, venue and other key wedding suppliers from flowers to stationery through to cakes. It’s thanks to the wonderful couples whose weddings are featured on the blog that I can share all of this useful information with you – as well as the gorgeous photographs of their day!

Weddings by season: spring, summer, autumn or winter!

Just how likely is it to rain at your July wedding? How many January couples actually get that magical covering of snow… and does it cause problems? You can search for real weddings by season on the English Wedding Blog (they’re all in this country, remember!), see the photographs and read couples’ wedding stories. Navigate from the top menu: hover your mouse over ‘weddings by style and season’ then click on the season you want to see!

Here are some quick shortcuts to spring weddings, summer weddings, autumn weddings and winter weddings. You’re welcome čÖé

Has your wedding venue been featured on the English Wedding Blog?

You can also see if I’ve blogged any real weddings from your wedding venue – it’s easy when you know how! Just type this text into your browser window and substitute the name of your venue where the pink text shows. Remember to use a hyphen if your venue has more than one word:

e.g. http://english-wedding.com/tag/shilstone-house will bring up all the weddings featured from Shilstone House in Devon.

Look for real weddings by your favourite photographers

Many of the best UK wedding photographers have featured on the English Wedding Blog, from superstar names like Chris Hanley Photography to blog heroes Anneli Marinovich and Marianne Taylor, and hundreds more!

To find any features by your own photographer on the blog, just type this into your browser, substituting the name of your photographer where I’ve typed in pink:

http://english-wedding.com/tag/chris-hanley-photography

Remember to use a hyphen instead of a space, and if your photographer’s been featured you’ll see all their weddings listed on the page which comes up.

It’s a bit like magic, really!
