Sometimes I love to blog something just because it’s beautiful. Sometimes it’s just about craftsmanship, elegance and a unique sense of style – because if there’s one thing I know about English brides, it’s that you all have a strong sense of fashion and style. So I already know you’ll adore the new Temperley Bridal Iris collection of beautifully crafted, vintage-inspired wedding gowns. Here are a few of my favourites from the new collection…
The Temperley Bridal Iris Collection is designed for memories to be made in. Iris introduces 14 new wedding looks, all characterised by meticulous craftsmanship, fine hand embroidery, beautiful beadwork and delicate laces.
For those of you who are looking for something a little different to designer wedding gowns, Iris introduces new categories for Temperley Bridal including a full A-line skirt, bridal kaftan, a jumpsuit as well as short, voluminous styles.
The Nepheli jumpsuit is an elegant, 70s inspired, silk crepe halter neck jumpsuit with wide leg, fitted bodice and low back – it’s brave and elegant, and I’d love to know what you think of this new designer bridal style.
New shapes and categories include the short sleeved duchess satin Aralia evening swing coat with crystal and metallic stitch work that works back with the spectacular Aralia Show Dress – a strapless silk organza dress with fitted corset and full skirt.
Embellishments throughout the collection are intricate with hand-applied crystals, stitched embroidery and hand folded flower detailing. There are also accessories in the Temperley Bridal Iris Collection: Iris introduces five new veil designs which accompany accessories from the classic Temperley Bridal collection; delicate lace shrugs and in-house designed collection of headpieces, combs and embellished sashes.
The Temperley London Notting Hill boutique, the original home of Temperley relaunched as a destination bridal boutique in October 2013 to meet growing demand for bridal appointments. The bridal salon is available for private appointments – details are on the Temperley London website at www.temperleylondon.com. The full 2014 collection is also available to view online at Temperley London.
Which is your favourite? Mine’s Romily (above) – and I adore the Bluebell dress which you can find at www.TemperleyLondon.com (not shown above).
