Wedding stationery with sophistication and drama

Oh, wow. Nothing sets my heart a-flutter like innovative wedding stationery and design. Today I’m going to show you something pretty special – something I love. Something I wish I could do! It’s black. It’s art-deco. It’s striking and delicious and all with a sense of elegance… just look at this!

Wendy designed and made table name cards, art deco wedding invitations (above – just look at that gorgeous and intricate detailing!) and menus (below) for their wedding reception.

There’s more I can say – the tiny details are what make me catch my breath, and I love the typography, the bold art deco style lines and impactful borders. Wendy didn’t show me the stationery with a view to sharing it on English Wedding Blog, I had to ask! It took a while – at first all I could say was, “God, I do love it!!”

Louise and Ben did too! Wendy shared their feedback on facebook: “You never ceased to astonish us with your stunning work and ability to interpret our intent. Not only are you a very talented lady but also a very obliging, kind and supportive port in the wedding storm.  …You set the tone for the whole wedding perfectly and with the sophistication and drama that we hoped we could achieve. We would highly recommend your design service because of your outstanding vision, quality of service and the fact that you are a rare commodity in the wedding industry and any event or wedding will always benefit from your involvement.” Read more…

How beautiful! I’m a huge art deco fan and I had the most amazing experience whilst on hols once. Art Deco loving couples honeymooning in Thailand must visit The Atlanta Hotel. It’s reception area hasn’t changed since it opened in the 1950’s and it’s full of original art deco features. They even employ generation after generation of the same Thai families, so even the staffing has hardly changed! Back in the 1950’s it was the most celebrated hotel in Bangkok, but now it’s now a hostel (the rooms are basic and not art deco), so it’s not a place for honeymoon luxury, but just to be in the reception and to taste the amazing food in the restaurant is unforgettable
