50s inspired wedding at The Blazing Donkey

wedding photography blog (8)Anyone who knows me at all will be chuckling already – I couldn’t possibly say no to a wedding from The Blazing Donkey* now, could I?! This is John and Lynette’s wedding day, and it happens to be a really lovely wedding with lots of personal touches and a fantastic couple who created something really special with a 1950s wedding theme.

Allison from Reading-based Magic Photography submitted this wedding for my blog. She’s also a friend of the bride – who is a photographer too! – so the intimate moments here are truly relaxed and I feel like I’m leafing through John and Lynette’s wedding album as a friend – all of the photographs are so natural and lovely.

Lynette looks beautiful with her birdcage veil. I adore all the little details she got together and (as well as the name of the venue) I think you’ll chuckle at the location… watch for the sign!

Thanks for featuring Lynette & John’s wedding Claire, can’t believe it was nearly a year ago! One of my favourite weddings! 🙂

Ahh, how beautiful! Looks like such a lovely wedding day. So many great little touches like flip flops for sore feed and “spread the love” jam!
