A beautiful, classy Cheshire wedding – blog two

Yesterday I shared Andrea and Richard’s classy wedding in Cheshire. They were married in July and despite the rain it was a beautiful celebration: not least for Andrea’s stunning halterneck wedding dress and the inclusion of their adorable little son and the cutest EVER bridesmaid and flower girl.

wedding blog by cg weddings photography UK (1)I saved lots and lots of gorgeous images of the wedding reception for you. A deliciously sophisticated garden wedding reception, this blog post is full of ideas for styling your day – as well as the usual collection of beautiful wedding photos to make you smile and dream of your own wedding day!

By the kids’ area. Enjoy the grown up photos of the party below – as ever, beautifully captured by Cheshire wedding photographers cg weddings. And then let’s go and have a peek at the kids’ tent, shall we? With bunting, flowers, games, treats and a selection of exotic creatures and creepy crawlies, it’s brilliant inspiration for entertaining children at your wedding. You’ll love it…

And while the grown ups enjoy speeches and drinks, there’s a whole other party going on outside…

wedding blog by cg weddings photography UK (7)The kids’ area is an enchanting little tent full of surprises – I love it! Hidden away and out of bounds to grown ups… perfect. (And as a parent I’m guessing… it’s quiet over there too!)

wedding blog by cg weddings photography UK (31)Not all are so keen to welcome the guy with the big camera. I love the cheeky smile… but I’d be backing away with my Canon intact at this point!

wedding blog by cg weddings photography UK (39)I wanted to finish this blog post with a few portraits of the bride and groom. There are more to see on the cg weddings blog, but these are my favourites. I love a stormy, dramatic sky (yes, even in July!)

Congratulations to Andrea and Richard, and thank you to wedding photographers Liam and Bee Crawley for sharing the images of this beautiful Cheshire wedding with us today.

All in all, a stunning wedding and a treat for English Wedding blog. If you loved it, you’ll probably want to pop back for some inspiration tomorrow…

  • I love the Moroccan lanterns with the flowers hanging from the ceiling and I agree the formal dining area looks very sophisticated. The colour palette of browns, green and white works wonderfully well. It’s a nice wedding design. What a great idea for the kids to have their own tent – that’s something Kate Moss did too for her wedding.

What a fab wedding-I want to play in the children’s tent-drink those cocktails and dance to that band-hmm might pinch the whole idea for my big birthday later this year!

Nice photographs. The idea of separate children tent is cool. they could enjoy there in their own way.
