Star Brides – your winners

Our Star Brides are here!

Thank you all so very much for your votes this week. The English Wedding blog has been buzzing! I can barely touch the keyboard without feeling a little sizzle in my fingers 🙂

Two worthy winners and lovely ladies I can’t wait to have as regular wedding bloggers here on English Wedding! I shouldn’t keep you waiting any longer, should I?! Here you go…

Sally and Salma – Congratulations!!! With 27% and 24% of the votes – well over 700 votes between you – your weddings have caught the imaginations of our readers.

I’m looking forward to hearing all about Sally’s country garden wedding and I can’t wait to find out more about her little retro quirky details… and seeing some photos and ideas which I know will inspire plenty of us!

And Salma’s focus on marriage, her rebellion against how the (old-fashioned side of the…) wedding industry makes us think – it’s what English Wedding is all about. Plus the musical aspects of Salma’s wedding… briliant!

Sally & Salma – Welcome to English Wedding!

With a fabulous total of 1,456 votes, these two brides-to-be stole your hearts and grabbed your votes by the bucketload.

I’ll be in touch with the winners today. Each will be given their own password to write on the English Wedding blog. They’ll have their own areas on the blog so you can follow their wedding planning journeys every step of the way!

I must also say a big thank you to the other Star Bride finalists: Amy, Claire, Eleanor, Louise and Michelle – I loved all of your ideas and I will keep in touch to see how your wedding planning is going. I wish you all the very best for a wonderful year.

Thanks as well to the voters. You’re ace, you are!
