City Chic engagement shoot

My favourite image: the bridges in Castlefield are instantly recognisable

My favourite image from this e-shoot: the bridges in Castlefield are instantly recognisable, Alexis and Adam are so into each other (and I love the damp Mancunian in the foreground too!)

E-shoot week has been so much fun – it’s been great to feature something different and I hope you’ve been enjoying the variety! But it doesn’t stop there… today I’m delighted to be sharing Alexis and Adam’s pre-wedding shoot in Castlefield, otherwise known as Manchester’s Official Department of Cool.

Alexis and Adam are a very good looking couple, stylish and a pretty perfect match if you ask me! They’re also up for a laugh and that’s how you should approach your e-shoot. If you’re ready for anything you’ll have a great time and get fantastic photography out of your day.

This being Manchester, it rained. In fact no, it poured. It does. But photographer Jonny Draper says it’s important to him to shoot an engagement shoot when it’s booked, no matter what the weather does – it’s a reassurance for couples that come rain or shine, they’ve chosen their wedding photographer well for his reliability as well as for the amazing images he’ll create with them on the day.

Romantic kiss engagement shoot

This lovely shot of Adam and Alexis is like a little moment of quiet and intimacy - a lovely thing to capture as part of a city photo shoot, and beautifully done by Jonny Draper

Thanks to Manchester photographer Jonny Draper for allowing me to feature his photography on English Wedding. These images couldn’t have come from anywhere other than Manchester: they’re soooo cool and sophisticated, creative and classy all at once.

Alexis and Adam look fantastic and provide the perfect example of a great pre-wedding shoot. Having fun with your photographer and getting such great photos before your wedding can give you such a great boost – and the confidence that when it comes to your wedding day you’re in the best of hands.

I’m looking forward to seeing Alexis and Adam’s wedding photography in August – in the meantime please join me in admiring Jonny Draper’s wedding photo blog. For more information about Manchester wedding photography please visit www.jonnydraper.co.uk

First off I have to say “great blog Claire” . Secondly, Jonny Draper is a Legend! Such a fun guy to be around, he puts his subjects at ease. I have worked with him on many weddings in the UK and can honestly say he is a rarity, not only does he take amazing shots but you feel like you’ve made a friend aswell. Keep up the good work guys.
