Beautiful vintage wedding in Wales

A gorgeous bride and groom photo

Love is...

The wave of beautiful vintage themed weddings just doesn’t seem to stop – and I’m really loving all the gorgeous vintage wedding photography around at the moment.

Allison and Jeremy had a gorgeous wedding day in Wales, complete with pink rose flower arrangements Allison had made herself, a beautiful and unusual wedding venue, and a wedding dress and lace shrug that are out of this world!

Allison and Jeremy chose Devon based photographers Lime Leaf Weddings to capture their day. I’m a big fan of Laura and Henley’s photography work, and this series of amazing wedding images is one of their best: the wonderful lightness in every image makes me wonder if they carried along their own little sunshine in a bag with the camera equipment. Enjoy…

Alison’s wedding dress is beautiful and I love this picture: the sash is lovely and only highlights the lace detailing on the bodice of the dress.

The wedding venue is Pentre Ifan, near Newport in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Allison and Jeremy travelled from Buckinghamshire to get married in the Welsh countryside where Allison is originally from. Pentre Ifan was perfect: a 600 year old Tudor gatehouse with curved beams and a remote setting in rural Wales – they couldn’t have found a more magical wedding venue.

The venue is unique and pretty inside

The fairy lights, bird cage and flowers dotted around the venue all combine to make it really magical.

The red carpet at the wedding venue is a lovely touch!

Friends and family had worked hard to transform the wedding venue – and I love all the little touches that make it look amazing!

Allison and Jeremy had time to nip to the seaside for a few spectacular photos by the harbour.

The wedding venue decoration was done by friends and family, and Allison had studied floristry before the wedding which helped her create beautiful arrangements with pink roses and foliage to decorate the venue.

Gorgeous vintage wedding venue

The wedding venue is intimate, nicely arranged and looks so pretty!

Even the little details add to the atmosphere of the wedding day: all the vintage china had been carefully collected in the run up to the wedding – and the pastel colours look lovely!

  • Gorgeous dress, I think its Hayley by Sassi Holford (correct me if I’m wrong), and it really goes with the vintage feel of the wedding!

Wow, these are the most gorgeous pictures!
The effect of the reflection in the mirror, in the Bridal preparation pic is stunning and, also the picture where Jeremy is waiting for his bride is truly lovely.

A beautiful wedding! This looks very similar to our wedding… perfect vintage in a rustic setting.
