Dedication ceremony by the sea

I spotted Sarah and Ally’s dedication ceremony on the TP Photography website a week or two ago, and loved the striking images of their day. I also love to post something a little unusual from time to time.

This was a dedication ceremony rather than a wedding, but Sarah blew me away with her fantastic red wedding dress, and Ally looks fantastic in full Scottish attire: kilt, sporren, the lot. Enjoy!

A dedication ceremony can be held for many reasons: as a vow renewal, or to have your civil ceremony blessed by a vicar if you weren’t married in church the first time. The idea is to dedicate your marriage to God.

After the dedication ceremony, Ally and Sarah went onto the beach with Greg for some portrait shots. They were so lucky to have beautiful sunny skies, a rainbow and a gorgeous sunset.

So Sarah's the treasure at the end of the rainbow!

Thanks to Greg from TP Photography for sharing this dedication ceremony. He has a great wedding photography blog, one I follow with great interest!

Greg is (to quote his blog) “looking for weird and wonderful weddings in Poole, Bournemouth, Blandford Forum , Wimborne, Cranbourne, Shaftesbury, Sherborne, Corfe, Wareham, Verwood and even as far away as Hampshire!” If that’s you, find out more on the TP Photography website.

I have to recommend Greg on Twitter as well. He’s always around for a chat, advice and wedding photography news: twitter.com/tpphotography (seriously, this guy doesn’t sleep!) He’s always in the top 100 wedding tweeters list too!
