Over to Julie…

Plan your wedding like a professional!

Wedding planning tools from The Wedding Genie (1)I love planning weddings and one of the first things I learned when I started was that being organised is most definitely the key to success.

Many brides have asked me what is the best way to keep on top of all the information you accumulate and how to apportion your budget to the various areas of the wedding.

The Wedding Genie Wizard Planning Tools.

To help my brides I have designed a package of wedding planning tools called The Wedding Genie Wizard that are easy to use and enable you to plan and stick to your budget as well as keep all your wedding details in one place. They are very affordable too!

Planning your wedding budget

Budget may not seem a very romantic subject but it is something that must be addressed right at the beginning of your planning. You can’t book a venue or invite guests if you don’t know how much you have to spend.

There is also research to show that brides who don’t plan a budget now spend between 25% and 50% more than they wanted to. No one wants to wake up the day after the wedding with a huge credit card bill. That is definitely not the way to start married life.

The Wedding Genie Wizard Tools

The Wedding Genie Wizard Tools are designed to help you set your budget and make you aware when you go over it! It’s your money and you can spend it how you like. The wizard calculator will suggest to you how much to spend in each area. Of course then you can move the money around and spend it on the areas that are important to you. My hints and tips are included to help give you inspiration and guide you.Wedding planning tools from The Wedding Genie (8)

A word of warning: most brides I speak to say they have the budget in their head and know what they are spending. I can tell you unless you write it down and see it in black and white your wedding budget will definitely spiral out of control. Seeing the figures and totals will focus your attention. It always adds up to less in your head than it does in your spreadsheet!

One click of a button and you can see exactly what you have spent, what is left to spend and what you have left to pay. Also if you go over budget the figures will be in red to alert you right away.

Being an organised bride and groom

The second thing after your budget is to stay organised. Wedding planners love making lists and keeping all their notes and information in one place. You can use The Wedding Genie Wizard to do exactly that.
