Stationery Trends for 2010

1. Vintage – Antique lace, damask prints, feminine flowers have all become increasingly popular stationery components in recent years. With the abundance of successful charity shops and some A list celebrity fans, vintage is most definitely ‘in’.

2. Beach Weddings – With increasing numbers of couples choosing to get hitched abroad, beach weddings are definitely becoming a popular theme. The use of sand, starfish, shells, and even flip flops are popular materials that are being used.

3. Environmental – Recycled card, handmade papers, raffia, wood, pressed flowers and seeds can look absolutely stunning when incorporated into wedding stationery. It’s also an added bonus to feel that you are in some way helping the environment.

4. Black & White – Becoming a hugely popular colour choice for all types of wedding stationery. A timeless classic, extremely elegant and
sophisticated. Can also be simply stunning with a hint of an accent colour such as fuchsia pink.

5. Fabrics – Many companies are starting to add gorgeous texture to their designs with the use of fabrics. From pretty sheer tuille to thick linen,
this can be a great way of bringing a card to life with beautiful patterns and eye pleasing textures.
