Loves!

This is just a page of stuff I love. It may ramble, for which I apologise. While I’m researching English weddings I keep finding details, images and accessories that make me swoon. They’ll go here!

Calla lily buttonholes from Aisle Be Yours Wedding Services, based in Bristol and run by the lovely Sherrie Hicks. The white rose and crystal bouquet is also from Aisle Be Yours. Sherrie makes beautiful silk wedding flower arrangements and ships throughout the UK.

The wedding guest book is from Olivier Laudus. Originally a supplier of wedding ring cushions, the Olivier Laudus shop now stocks a fantastic range of wedding albums and guest books as well as bridal jewellery and accessories. Further down in this selection, the bridal tiara is also from Olivier Laudus.

The black and white square wedding cupcake stack is from Especially Delicious. Based in London, Especially Delicious design and make fabulous wedding cakes with organic and fair trade ingredients.

The three little round monochrome wedding cupcakes are from La Crème Cupcake. They deliver throughout Sussex and provide wedding cupcakes on tiers as an alternative to a traditional cake, as well as wedding favour cupcakes, individually boxed.

The white frilled rose bouquet is from The Blossom Tree, a fabulous wedding florist based in Derby. I love the deep greens in the bouquet, which would work beautifully with a black and white wedding theme. The Blossom Tree also designed the flower arrangement shown in the last of my ‘loves’, above. The colours are wonderful, with the foliage making a really striking display.

The feather flower hairpiece in white is from Etsy. I love Etsy for unusual wedding accessories, and also for bridal party gifts and inspiration.

Momental Designs make beautiful wedding invitations and although they’re a US company, they will ship to England. Led by designer Kristy Rice, Momental Designs have a wonderful range of artistic and colourful wedding invitations for you to choose from. Follow their blog for latest updates.

The tiered black and white wedding cake is by Zoe Clark. Zoe’s website is amazing — please check her out. Best of all, Zoe Clark cakes ship from London across the UK — so I highly recommend one!

Finally the tiered white wedding cake is from Tea Party Cakes. Established by the lovely Edith in 2008, Tea Party Cakes is based in London and provides a bespoke service for your wedding cake or cupcakes. Every cake is made with loving care and attention. Please visit Tea Party Cakes on Facebook if you’d like to find out more.

The elegant candle holders are from Bonnefete Hire, birdcages and selection of exquisite vintage crockery are available to hire from the fabulous My Vintage Party (and you have to check out their vintage caravan for hire.. otherwise known as Lola!) The pink place setting is from Confetti, the pink rose wedding cakes are by amazing cake designer Zoe Clark.

I love Joojooland from etsy for the lovely little character cake toppers. Vanilla Bakery can make you the beautiful pink swirly cupcakes and butterfly cookie favour, and last but not least by any means, the wedding stationery is from Momental Designs. I love all of these fabulously creative people and want to marry them.

Purple wedding inspiration

Gorgeous laser cut wedding stationery in purples, black and white (love the foil print monogram) and ivory from www.Chartula.co.uk.
Headbands from www.RoystandAran.com. Calligraphy invitations from the amazing www.urbis-scriptores.co.uk.

I’ve always loved The Whole Caboodle’s wedding stationery range so I’ve included one of their lovely scroll invitations, and some table names with a pretty, narrow ribbon. Aisle Be Yours have one of the biggest wedding flower inspiration galleries I’ve seen from an English wedding supplier — the lilac bouquet comes from them. And a little item I’ve seen again and again in the wedding press is the favour box from Lovely Favours — I think it’s gorgeous.

Red wedding inspiration

The wedding invitation close up I chose first here is by Ivy Ellen. The scroll invitation is ‘Megan’ by Carol Miller Designs. Paper flowers for table decorations are a long time favourite of mine and come from paperplatypus on Etsy. I adore the black and red ‘Silhouette’ guest books from the fabulous Wedding Paraphernalia.

The wedding album is from Aspinal of London (in my day job as a calligrapher I’ve written in one of these… if I’d known it cost £200+ I would have been more nervous about that!). The gorgeous table plan is by Julie Boyd at Carol Miller Designs. I love the luscious silk floral fascinator (which can also be worn as a corsage) from Hapitat on Etsy. The tulip wedding invite is from a collection at Lovely Favours, as is the ‘Frozen Forest’ invitation. Also the vintage style brooch is sold as part of a wedding stationery range from Lovely Favours.
