Wedding inspiration board — winter berries
Yesterday I shared a ‘berry’ lovely winter wedding inspiration shoot by Hannah from Lifeline Photography. Today’s post is a quickie — something to cut out and keep!
I made a wedding inspiration board for you with Hannah’s lovely images and all the little accessories and decorations from the day. So if you’re looking to make lots of things for your wedding, and you’ve got a little red riding hood costume knocking around that you don’t really need… this is perfect for you!
With help from some wonderful wedding suppliers

Wedding inspiration blog — winter berries
I’ve been waiting so long for a cold snap. I pictured myself blogging all wrapped up and toasty, with glistening icicles outside and this winter berries wedding inspiration shoot on my screen, next to a mug of steaming hot chocolate…
Well there’s no snow outside (yet). I give up!!! But it’s chilly. It’s been frosty… and the sparkles on the pavement in the morning say it’s time to blog this lovely wedding inspiration shoot!
Pretty in Pink! Wedding inspiration board
Some classic pink wedding inspiration from Suzy and Bruno’s Hengrave Hall wedding…

Wedding inspiration — Pretty in Pink
Choose a focus for your wedding decorations — don’t spend a fortune on every detail, but choose something fabulous that will be a real talking point: in Suzy and Bruno’s case, the table centrepieces are statuesque and colourful with roses, feathers and foliage perched on glass pillars.
Keep your details elegant and simple: a wedding table plan focusing on word art is a great idea. Suzy and Bruno chose simple pink flowers for the four edges of their plan and an ornate black frame which I love.
Autumn, the wedding industry and Narnia
Do you love or hate autumn? When there’s a crisp chill in the air, you wake up in darkness at 7am, the heating goes on and winter woollies come out — do you hide or rush out to play in the rusty leaves?
I had the idea of a new wedding blog post with my friend and Tiararama designer Suzanne Laughlin: to shout out and share the things we love about autumn. Because at the end of the wedding season the wedding industry doesn’t sleep: instead, we get inspired. The smell of autumn on the air, the hazy sunshine and being all toasty inside… it kicks off that creative buzz. I wanted to share some of that with you!
Jerk and Jam – A vintage English country wedding with a Caribbean twist

A wedding blogger’s dream… the perfect fairytale wedding jam packed full of details and DIY, a bride who has had the most amazing time creating the perfect day. A glamorous couple, a loving family and a story which is guaranteed to make you cry.

Especially in the light of the blog post on Hindsight Bride last week, I’m already enjoying sharing this perfect fairytale wedding with you. There are tons of details. There is everything you could see in the very best wedding magazine. Because everyone is different, and for Sally and Gareth this meant a very personal wedding with bells, whistles and a cherry on top. With photos by Dwiko Arie, this really is a dream wedding day.
Countryside wedding inspiration board
Did you see Tanya and Andy’s countryside wedding on the blog this week? I loved it so much I’ve turned the blog feature into a three-day event! We’ve heard about camping in the countryside before the wedding day, about tambourines in church and the band playing around the campfire, about games and cakes and lavender and campervans…
…well, I had to make you an inspiration board from some of the wedding photographs — all of the lovely images above are by reportage wedding photographer Mark Carey. The details and ideas to take away for your own wedding are:

A beautiful real wedding at Brick House Farm

Today’s wedding blog is for all you brides and grooms planning a relaxed, informal and fun day: a wedding without stuffy rules, constraints and conventions. Tanya and Andy had a fabulous creative wedding at Brick House Farm in Kent, and reportage wedding photographer Mark Carey was first to tell me about their day.

I instantly loved the few images he shared with me. I knew I had to email Tanya right away and she was kind enough to share her amazing wedding story for the blog. It’s a wonderful tale — here is a bride with imagination and a wonderful confidence to create a really personal wedding day.
How to find creative inspiration
I blogged a very creative photoshoot earlier in the week — a little adventure I loved being a part of! It wasn’t a bridal shoot, in fact it was like nothing I’ve ever blogged before. But the process of doing something different was just brilliant.
But why would I post something so bizarre on a wedding blog? (I hear you ask!)
I think we’re all here looking for inspiration in one way or another. Brides, grooms, wedding businesses — creativity is important. Finding something new shouldn’t always be about the latest tiara design. Sometimes it’s about taking inspiration from something unexpected. That was the message I wanted to share.
A little blog lovin’ for you!
I’m out playing in the woods today — on a top secret blog mission, living a fairytale, and (if the last three days are anything to go by) with ‘teddy bears’ picnic’ going around and around in my brain.
Although the secret photoshoot I’m going to see and later share with you is definitely NOT about teddy bears! It’s altogether more exciting, more gorgeous, more inspiring and I expect a little darker than a teddy bears’ picnic could ever be.

Get the look! Country garden wedding inspiration board
Please do indulge my wedding inspiration board phase… I absolutely love doing these right now! Perhaps it’s because I’m being sent so many brilliant photos at the moment. Wedding photographers are such a generous and creative bunch of people
So — this is part 3 of Claudia and John’s wedding in Devon, on the English Wedding blog. They combined their Australian heritage with a vintage inspired, English country garden theme and created something really special. Here’s how you can recreate that look for your own wedding day!
