Chic bridal photography

Greg from TP Photography submitted something just a little different for the English Wedding blog, and I’d love to know what you think.

This is bridal photography as a collaboration between local wedding suppliers: the kind of teamwork which builds a close rapport between suppliers — and I love that these informal little teams are dotted all around the country.

The shoot involved the fabulous Green House Hotel — an eco-friendly wedding venue in Bournemouth, Bridal Designs Wedding Jewellery and Cloudlight Photography,

Find a wedding photographer you love, and you’ll probably feel the same about the florists, cake companies and stationers they recommend to you as well.

Dedication ceremony by the sea

Quirky old clock face

Quirky old clock face

I spotted Sarah and Ally’s dedication ceremony on the TP Photography website a week or two ago, and loved the striking images of their day. I also love to post something a little unusual from time to time.

This was a dedication ceremony rather than a wedding, but Sarah blew me away with her fantastic red wedding dress, and Ally looks fantastic in full Scottish attire: kilt, sporren, the lot. Enjoy!

Chilworth Manor Wedding

Chilworth Manor lawn

I love this eye-catching photo! The bright lawn, sky and mingling guests look great.

Here’s a lovely wedding for you, from a gorgeous sunny summer day. The first image I saw from this wedding on the TP Photography blog really blew me away — it was just a riot of colour!

Abby and Lee were married at Chilworth Manor near Southampton, a fascinating Edwardian house with 12 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens (although I must admit it was the lush green lawn that first caught my eye!)

Summer skies Dorset wedding

Groom chases bride

My favourite photo from this wedding, a spontaneous bit of fun outside a thatched cottage

You know that feeling you get on a bright summer’s day, where you can lie and stare at the bright blue sky and just feel blissfully happy? That’s this wedding!

Shot by TP Photography from Dorset, Pam and Marc’s wedding is full of bright blue and splashes of colour. From the waistcoats to the wedding cake, the colours used all day are gorgeous, and beautifully captured by photographer Greg.

Highcliffe Castle wedding

Katie and Steve were married in May, on a gorgeous sunny day by the seaside in Dorset. The wedding photography (by TP Photography) captures a perfect English wedding day with bags of sunshine, bright spring colours and a clear blue sky.

Beach wedding

A lovely keepsake: writing Just Married in the sand!

This photo is my favourite, it really sets the scene for Steve & Katie’s wedding by the seaside.

Wedding rings

A nice simple photograph of the wedding rings

The wedding rings are lovely polished white gold bands, and I like the contrast on the scratched surface of the table.

A wedding in Poole

Rob and Naomi had a lovely wedding at Poole registry office and were photographed on their wedding day by TP Photography. Their photographs are stunning and I hope you’ll enjoy them!

yellow wedding bouquets

Naomi’s wedding flowers were beautiful in shades of yellow

The wedding bouquets were bright and full of colour, with yellow tulips with a hint of peach, daffodils, roses and lots of lovely foliage. This picture is fantastic, I love the blue background and the bright yellows. But keep reading, this is only my first favourite photo from this wedding! There are many!

Burley Manor Wedding

Lauren and Barry’s lovely English wedding

Lauren and Barry were married at Burley Manor on the 6th of February this year. I love Lauren’s look — she’s a real English rose. Her wedding gown is a very classic, traditional style but with an extravagant full skirt and ruched fabric in lots of lovey layers, while the bodice is simple and looks beautiful on her slender frame. I love this first wedding picture for its Englishness… a stroll in the woods, with oak leaves lining the ground and the lovely greens of moss and holly framing the bride and groom.
