As sweet as candy — VERY pink wedding inspiration

Some­times the girl takes over. When faced with a sea of pink in, say, Toys R Us, I run in the other direc­tion. But today, see­ing this pink­ness… it’s like can­dyfloss, marsh­mal­lows and cherry blos­som — every­thing the girl inside me adores. This inspi­ra­tion shoot is beau­ti­fully indul­gent, unashamedly pink — and full of ideas for a deli­ciously fem­i­nine wed­ding style.

A very English wedding

There’s no other way to describe this wed­ding day, a lovely coun­try­side wed­ding cel­e­bra­tion with pretty colours, a princess bride and tall, dark, hand­some groom. Prema and Andy were mar­ried on the 14th of August in a beau­ti­ful lit­tle Cheshire vil­lage called Thorn­ton Hough. They were mar­ried at All Saints Church, and the wed­ding recep­tion was held at Andy’s par­ents’ house.

Pho­tog­ra­phy was by Vic­to­ria Phipps. I love how she cap­tured some of the very best moments… see Andy wait­ing at the altar, and the lovely pho­tos of Prema with her dad. There are also some cheeky pho­tos in here which made me gig­gle. I hope you love them too!  Read more…

Dorset wedding by Lisa Dawn Photography

Two rea­sons for post­ing this wed­ding today: it’s a gor­geous sunny day and Kather­ine and Craig had a won­der­fully sunny wed­ding in May, so it kind of fits. Also, wed­ding pho­tog­ra­pher Lisa Dawn gets mar­ried today — so in her hon­our, I wanted to post another of her dreamy, charm­ing Dorset weddings.

I love all the extra lit­tle touches at this wed­ding: it has such char­ac­ter and a sense of fun. Kather­ine and Craig arranged for a vin­tage red Lon­don bus to drive guests to the cer­e­mony, a great photo chart with the bride and groom as chil­dren, and an ice sculp­ture dis­pens­ing vodka shots (with the help of the best man)!  Read more…

Pretty in Pink!

Another wed­ding I’ve been keep­ing to myself for a few weeks… sorry folks! But it’s worth wait­ing for, trust me. Mark and Vic­to­ria were mar­ried in July and their fab­u­lous pho­tog­ra­pher was Mark Skeet, who is based in Yorkshire.

A favourite photo of mine — Vic­to­ria looks beau­ti­ful and relaxed before the wedding

Victoria’s soft white wed­ding gown is sim­ple and ele­gant, with a strap­less bodice, straight, sweep­ing skirt and flower embell­ish­ments. Her bou­quet is of pink and ivory roses, and her wed­ding shoes are from Faith.
