The thing about Lon­don is it has those fan­tas­tic visual icons: the red phone box, buses and top class wed­ding venues like One White­hall Place. We just don’t have quite the same acces­sories up north! So I do love a Lon­don wed­ding when I see one.

I’ve just sat and grinned through a slideshow of wed­ding images, twice — and had to share! The wed­ding I’ve just been enjoy­ing is Gavin and Stephanie’s. They were mar­ried just a few weeks ago on a lovely sunny day, near High Wycombe — the recep­tion was at The King’s Hotel. They chose one of my favourite wed­ding pho­tog­ra­phers: Matt Parry.

Eng­lish groom and best men at a French wed­ding by Matt Parry

Today I thought it would be nice to broaden our hori­zons over at Eng­lish Wed­ding. Just a lit­tle hop over the chan­nel, to see a fab wed­ding by Matt Parry who is a wed­ding pho­tog­ra­pher in Lon­don.

His lit­tle brother Chris was mar­ried in France in Sep­tem­ber and I couldn’t resist shar­ing the mon­tage of pho­tos in Matt’s slideshow of the wed­ding day. I’ve made some new friends via Twit­ter today, one of whom is Matt Parry. Matt is a wed­ding pho­tog­ra­pher based in the South of Eng­land, but trav­els through­out the UK, with a recent Scot­tish wed­ding on the home page of Matt’s blog as I type.

Matt has some really great wed­ding pho­tos on his site which are view­able as slideshows, and he com­bines the images with a great sound­track which is right up my street (and trust me, I’m fussy!) — I hope you enjoyed this one.  Read more…
