Fit­ting snugly into my new phi­los­o­phy for the week, this is Alex & Sian’s wed­ding from the Vale of Glam­or­gan, pho­tographed by Joseph Yarrow.

It’s a beau­ti­ful set of pho­tos and what shone through to me when I saw these was the feel­ing of cel­e­bra­tion — there are pretty wed­ding details, yes, and a gor­geous bride and hand­some groom — but scroll through this post and you’ll see Alex and Sian’s day cen­tred around friends and fam­ily shar­ing in the cel­e­bra­tion of their mar­riage. This wed­ding is a treat, and all the more spe­cial for a very spe­cial lit­tle flower girl, daugh­ter of the bride and groom and the star of the show. She’s adorable and clearly lov­ing her mum & dad’s wed­ding celebrations.

Bride Kate is absolutely beau­ti­ful, and she and Mark make a strik­ing cou­ple. Their pho­tographs (by Chris Han­ley) are exquis­ite, com­bin­ing dra­matic scenes, romance and emo­tion, and some fan­tas­tic fun shots around the venue.  Read more…

A Family Affair

This photo shows just how mag­i­cal this fam­ily ori­ented wed­ding must have been!

I was so pleased to find this wed­ding by pho­tog­ra­pher Rob Gal­lop, as I’ve been look­ing for a very family-oriented wed­ding for a cou­ple of weeks. I love that bride and groom Fi and Andy, as well as all of their fam­ily, obvi­ously ‘clicked’ with their pho­tog­ra­pher and got such amaz­ing pho­tos as a result.
