This year Chris’s work has been cho­sen by Queens­berry to pro­mote their lux­ury wed­ding albums, by Chan­ti­cleer Bride to pro­mote their 2012 col­lec­tion and by Hen­grave Hall to pro­mote one of the UK’s lux­ury wed­ding venues. Wed­ding inspi­ra­tion — Pretty in Pink

Choose a focus for your wed­ding dec­o­ra­tions — don’t spend a for­tune on every detail, but choose some­thing fab­u­lous that will be a real talk­ing point: in Suzy and Bruno’s case, the table cen­tre­pieces are stat­uesque and colour­ful with roses, feath­ers and foliage perched on glass pillars.

Keep your details ele­gant and sim­ple: a wed­ding table plan focus­ing on word art is a great idea. Suzy and Bruno chose sim­ple pink flow­ers for the four edges of their plan and an ornate black frame which I love.  Read more…

A girl lived with her mother on the out­skirts of a smoky city. The girl was beau­ti­ful: she had a gen­tle smile and kind eyes with a lit­tle laugh­ter behind them. Her hair was the colour of sun­shine and she wore red. She loved red. She always wore red.

She was look­ing for­ward to see­ing her beloved for a spe­cial date, so she decided to take a short cut through the for­est to meet him. The beach isn’t all about buck­ets and spades: if you’re going to the beach any time soon, do what I’ll be doing and find a quiet spot, watch the waves, see the life and spirit of nature out there. Some­times there’s noth­ing more fas­ci­nat­ing than the wild beaches around our shores.

Jayne and Phil’s wed­ding was at The Lowry in Man­ches­ter, a mod­ern the­atre with cre­ative inte­ri­ors in every colour you can imag­ine. The wed­ding recep­tion room how­ever is a blank can­vas, so Jayne and Phil chose shades of pur­ple to make it look amaz­ing for their wed­ding day.  Read more…

A rainbow of colours, an artist’s palette: Lowry wedding

The Lowry, Man­ches­ter. This is a wed­ding venue and the­atre (not usu­ally in that order) in the heart of the newly devel­oped Sal­ford Quays dis­trict, close by Media City and a haven for cre­ative types. The Lowry is named after Manchester’s famous artist L S Lowry, he of the match­stick men: stick fig­ures hud­dled against the rain in greys and browns and gritty land­scapes.  Read more…

Tales from the Riverside: an inspiration
