Angharad’s blog Edible Glitter is a lovely little lifestyle blog which isn’t just about weddings (although there are posts there about Angharad’s planning and wedding ideas which I love too!)
Edible Glitter is where Angharad shares her “love of food, fashion, beauty, interior design, literature and travel, in addition to my passion for Indian and French culture”.
Angharad got engaged to her fiance Paul in Paris this April and wrote her first guest post for the English Wedding blog in May: All that glitters can be pure gold.
I loved Angharad’s creative thinking: she’s flaunting convention and planning “a fairly laid-back affair, with the focus on having a good time rather than traditional expectations”.
Follow Angharad and Paul’s story via the Edible Glitter blog, with plenty to see aside from weddings. My weddingy favourites are the proposal in Paris, and Angharad’s thoughts on Wishing Trees for weddings.
Edible Glitter is a lovely little blog with separate sections for fashion and for food too. At times I want to be Angharad — posts like this one are so aspirational for me it almost hurts… I want my bit of obscure radio geekery too!
And there are plenty of blog posts in the miscellany section if you’re in the mood for an entertaining mooch around the interweb… recent favourites of mine here are Cat Babies (who could resist!) and Angharad’s carefully thought out and very detailed Letter to Santa.
You’ll see if you read Angharad’s guest blog post here on English Wedding that she’s planning a very different celebration.
Not a ‘budget wedding’ (because I hate the term: it implies a wedding inspired by spreadsheets) but a completely bespoke celebration of her marriage, full of creativity and imagination.
