Days to Go: 18
I realise that 18 days to go is an odd number to blog, but we have been so busy recently I haven’t been able to blog!
Time is zooming by and lots of things are falling into place! We had a meeting with a wedding coordinator at our Reception venue and sorted out lots of little twiddly bits.
It was really exciting to talk to the wedding coordinator, we could really picture the day and we were both in such a happy mood!

Days to Go: 47
I’ve got a wedding countdown ticker as an app on my Chrome browser, and when I saw the 47 days to go, my heart twisted a little in panic! Seven short weeks to go!
The To Do list is getting shorter, however. We are meeting with our church florist, I have booked a make-up trial, we’re meeting up with our photographer and the bridesmaid dresses are being altered!
The best recent wedding thing is that… I’ve been on my hen do!

Days to Go: 75
We have done the seating plan! I feel as if it’s the biggest achievement of the wedding! No one tells you how difficult it is to do a table plan!
The top table was easy because we’d spent a little while deciding who was going to join us on the top table. We decided on our parents so that our best man and bridesmaids could sit with our friends and socialise.

Lots of things have been happening! I can’t believe we’re down to double figures with the days to go!
My friends have been planning my very secret hen do. All I know is where we’re going, what time I need to be there and that at some point we will be eating! I love surprises but I’m so curious about what we’ll be doing! I really want to be sneaky and find out but in all honesty I do love surprises.

Days to Go: 98
I can barely believe it’s only 98 days to go! Our wedding is just around the corner and I’ll soon be Mrs Wong!
I’ve been looking back at what I’ve achieved over the last two years and I’ve been focusing on the what I’ve made myself. I’ve noticed that in a lot of blogs and magazines, they focus on the little touches that the bride and groom make themselves. This is what we made:
I’m also making the table plan but I haven’t started that yet as I’m still waiting for all the RSVP’s to come in.

Days to Go: 139
I started blogging on English Wedding with 321 days to go! Now it’s just over four and a half months to go! It still feels like ages away, but I’m so so so so so excited!
H2b has been focusing on our wedding photo booth. He wants to make it himself, and he’s collected some really fantastic ideas.
My friend had one of these photo booths at her wedding and it was so much fun! It’s basically an MDF wall with holes cut out for silly photos. Our photographer is helping us out with a tripod, camera and a flash so that one of our friends can stand and take photos for us.

I don’t really have many updates! The trouble with planning your wedding two years in advance is that it’s so slow!
We booked the wedding venue, the church and the photographer December 2009/January 2010, which seems like ages ago. We booked most of our suppliers in Spring and Summer of 2010 and I bought my wedding dress last April. Everything is organised!
Wedding things are, however, starting to take over our living room. I’ve ordered and received all our wedding favours which includes bubbles, boxes and little organza bags.

It’s a double wedding fayre weekend this weekend!
The first wedding fayre I went to was at my ceremony venue, the local church. It was amazing!
I’m not sure if I enjoyed it more because I was chatting to people directly involved with our wedding (the vicar, the church flowers lady) or if it was because they had a mock wedding, but it really was the best wedding fayre I’ve been to! (And I’ve been to a lot!)

Days to Go: 216
I recently wrote a check list post on my own blog and have scared myself! I was looking at the things that need to be done, and what I’ve actually achieved, and there’s more on the To Do List than on the Done List.
We have set a date, booked the church and the reception venue (after visiting 16 different venues!), I bought the wedding favours quite early on as they were in the sale on Confetti, and the cake topper was one of the first things I bought!

I am going to have to think of some more interesting titles for my blog posts! With so many days to go, it may seem as if I have heaps of time, but actually it’s only just over 7 months!
We have been busy since my last post! The bridesmaid dresses have been booked and mostly paid for (except for adjustments). All my bridesmaids liked Alfred Angelo 7076, and we are having it in lavender.
And yesterday, I got the team round, provided many cups of tea and we finished some of the twiddly wedding jobs!
