UK wedding photographer awarded ‘Best of the Best’

Berk­shire wed­ding pho­tog­ra­pher Neale James has started 2013 with the fan­tas­tic news that one of his images is to be included in the Junebug Wed­dings ‘Best of the Best 2012’ list, an inter­na­tional award that recog­nises the very best images taken dur­ing the past year.

The com­pe­ti­tion, run by one of the most pop­u­lar and well-respected wed­ding brands in the world, Junebug Wed­dings, attracts world­wide inter­est and this year saw almost 7,000 images from 39 dif­fer­ent coun­tries sub­mit­ted, so to be selected as one of the top 50 is a truly out­stand­ing achievement.

In addi­tion, and some­thing that makes the award even more incred­i­ble, this year Neale is the only UK based wed­ding pho­tog­ra­pher to have been included in the pres­ti­gious list.

Neale has been a doc­u­men­tary wed­ding pho­tog­ra­pher for the best part of 10 years, favour­ing a nat­ural, unob­tru­sive approach to cap­tur­ing all the unique events and emo­tions of a wed­ding day.

Speak­ing of the award, Neale said he was ‘incred­i­bly proud’ to have one of his images cho­sen and to see his name fea­tured along­side some of the world’s best wed­ding pho­tog­ra­phers is ‘an absolute honour’.
