Hello everyone, I hope your day has been nice so far and you’re keeping wrapped up warm! I was delighted when today’s feature landed into my inbox — it’s proof that UK wedding photographers are among the very best in the world:
Berkshire wedding photographer Neale James has started 2013 with the fantastic news that one of his images is to be included in the Junebug Weddings ‘Best of the Best 2012’ list, an international award that recognises the very best images taken during the past year.

The competition, run by one of the most popular and well-respected wedding brands in the world, Junebug Weddings, attracts worldwide interest and this year saw almost 7,000 images from 39 different countries submitted, so to be selected as one of the top 50 is a truly outstanding achievement.
In addition, and something that makes the award even more incredible, this year Neale is the only UK based wedding photographer to have been included in the prestigious list.
Neale has been a documentary wedding photographer for the best part of 10 years, favouring a natural, unobtrusive approach to capturing all the unique events and emotions of a wedding day.
Speaking of the award, Neale said he was ‘incredibly proud’ to have one of his images chosen and to see his name featured alongside some of the world’s best wedding photographers is ‘an absolute honour’.
