Vintage styled, relaxed and beautiful Hurst House wedding: part one

vintage inspired welsh wedding by Joseph Yarrow photographer (1)Ben and Amy. Smiles, giggles and hugs in a room full of happy family and friends. A wedding day in a Grade II listed hotel on the Southern coast of Wales. Hurst House is an elegant, stylish hotel full of traditional decor, with 17 rooms for wedding guests and you’ll get a real sense of the atmosphere of the place from Joseph Yarrow’s photographs from the day.

His images are the perfect combination of artistry and documentary style, with detail photos that draw you inside… I love the first images, approaching Hurst House — it’s like you’re there.

Amy’s dad is a big part of the wedding day, and of course groom Ben — aptly described (along with Amy) by Joseph as “insanely good looking”!

I’ll waffle no more — or only to say that this will be a wedding blog in two parts. Don’t forget to come back for more tomorrow!

vintage inspired welsh wedding by Joseph Yarrow photographer (27)The detailing on Amy’s wedding dress is lovely. It’s the perfect dress for her, a lovely vintage style with embroidery.

More rabbit, more smiles and hugs, more adorable kiddies enjoying the day. More beautiful shots of Amy and much more of Ben (who I’ve been hiding, it would seem!)

And more of Joseph Yarrow’s stunning wedding photography too. In the meantime, check out his wedding photography blog and official website at www.josephyarrow.com
