Couple eclipsed by sunshine

Lee and Hayley are eclipsed by beautiful sunshine in Chris Hanley’s first stunning shot

Top of my list of photo shoots to show you in e-shoot week is Lee and Hayley’s Manchester engagement shoot by Chris Hanley Photography. Chris takes the concept of an e-shoot and runs with it, creating images which you’ll treasure as much as you do your wedding photography.

Lee and Hayley chose a master photographer and have an exceptional engagement album to treasure — and these are some favourites from the day.

For me the romance of this photo is even more striking than the lucky 7 - it's written all over Lee's face and in Hayley's blissful smile

I love how Chris Hanley’s engagement shoots are as thrilling as his weddings, using stunning locations and imaginative techniques to create exciting images. But it’s not just about the photographs — as with every great wedding photographer, Chris Hanley’s e-shoots are designed to help you get to know each other and love having your photograph taken.

I’m going to be lazy and borrow a few words from Chris’s photography blog (because I couldn’t possibly say this any better than he does): “The importance of our wedding clients spending a loved up day with us in Manchester enables us all to bond as a team. Hearing all about their wedding day plans helps us to plan the ultimate bespoke shoot plan for their wedding day.”

Sound good? I agree. Check out Chris Hanley’s website for more information. And if you’re not in the Manchester area don’t worry: Chris shoots weddings throughout the UK so wherever you are you can have beautiful engagement photos like Lee and Hayley’s. I can’t wait to see their wedding later this year!

  2. These photographs are great, really original, they’re modern, yet classic.
    Very impressed.

  3. The use of light in these images is incredible! Love the shot in the alley with the Hilton in the background!!
