How about a little peek into the lives of the rich and famous? Did you see Nicola and Charlie's gorgeous luxury wedding at the Palace of Westminster and Institute of Directors on the blog yesterday? Let's go behind the scenes...
Wedding planner Andri Benson of Always Andri Wedding Design, who had the privilege of working with Nicola and Charlie to coordinate their wedding day, has shared some extra little bits with English Wedding. Find out who worked all the magic on their wedding day - from singing waiters to a gospel choir and more... it's great to know who top wedding planners recommend!
Always Andri: On The Day Coordination
I have to mention wedding planner Andri first, of course. I've followed @AlwaysAndri on twitter for the last year and would recommend her to any bride - not only is she an expert wedding planner full of great tips and advice, she also has her own UK wedding blog where she posts endless inspiration for everything wedding.
Duncan Kerridge: London wedding photographer
Then there's the wedding photographer. Duncan Kerridge is based in Norfolk and describes his style as "natural, insightful and empathic, observing closely to capture the joy of your wedding and the natural grace that everyone has within." His wedding photography blog is gorgeous - www.kerridgeweddings.co.uk/blog
Victorian Carriages Ltd: Brougham carriage
An opportunity you won't have very often in life... and on your wedding day this is a real treat: ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Victorian Carriages Ltd, owned by David Parsons, is based in Sandwell. (I've no idea how he travelled from there to London... seems that would be pushing it a bit!) Full contact details on the website www.VictorianCarriagesInSandwell.co.uk
It's All About You: bridal hair and make up
Kate Hughes is the talented lady behind Nicola’s beautiful wedding hair and make up, and herself has 25 years’ experience as a professional make up artist. Her company It’s All About You offers a complete hair and make-up service for brides, and Kate Hughes herself has worked with celebrity actors, presenters, musicians and models.
Wedding Dress: Pronovias
Pronovias began as a family business in Barcelona and has become one of the world’s leading bridal outlets with collections to be found in Harrods and across the UK.
The London Gospel Choir
The London Gospel Choir look amazing — I’d imagine they’re just the perfect sound to fill such a magnificent wedding venue! Find out more via Rev The Session Agency
Incognito: singing waiters for your wedding!
These guys are amazing: singing waiters from Incognito. Andri told me they went down an absolute storm and wedding guests loved the performance! If that isn’t accolade enough, Prince William called them “awesome” (that’d be Prince William of America, I assume…) and Max Clifford said they “brought the house down” wherever he’d seen them — but don’t let that put you off! There are some great videos from Incognito Artists online — find the best via their facebook page.
Peggy Porschen: wedding cupcakes
Peggy Porschen is a leading name in wedding cupcakes. Nicola and Charlie’s cupcakes in assorted flavours were decorated with different motifs –lipstick, mobile phone, skis and more representing the couple’s love of sports and gadgets. Don’t they look divine?

Hi Claire
Loving the new website.
Keep in touch.
Nick
Thanks again for the lovely feature. The horses were transported down in a carrier and then attached to the carriage outside the Haymarket Hotel where Nikki was getting ready. They arrived nice and early and were lovingly groomed in preparation; they also drew quite a crowd of interested onlookers.
