Pure Venetian indulgence…

Gorgeous, glamorous, mysterious masked bride in Venice. What a stunning backdrop for a beautiful bridal photoshoot — the fine detailing of the dress, jewels and that exquisite feather are so striking and yet the Venetian gondolier appears to have seen it all before…
… by Adrian Wood Photography…

Classical archways, sunlight and shadows, and a beautiful Venetian bride in the Piazza San Marco
The Venetian mask captures the beauty of the city’s people, the tradition of the annual Carnevale, the magic of a historic European city.

Sunlight glistens on the canal as our beautiful masked bride sits in swathes of luxurious lace. This is romantic Venice, with beautiful buildings and arched bridges. The graceful bride with her extravagant feathered mask personifies a city of infinite mystery and delight.
This is luxury fine art bridal photography at its very, very best.

A feathery Venetian resident gets caught up in the moment as sunshine bounces between Venice’s characteristic canalside buildings. This is the quiet aspect of Venezia, with the private jetty to one side and the beautiful bride looking quite at home, as though she knows the secrets behind the city’s facade.
I saw these photos on Adrian Wood’s wedding photography blog and fell in love with them instantly. The beauty of Venice, the tranquil settings and gorgeous locations, the shock of seeing a stunning modern bride in the famously crumbling city centre, and the amazing photography — all add together to create something incredibly inspiring.
I hope you’ve loved these as much as I do.

Bridal shoots by Adrian Wood Photography
From these images alone it shows instantly that Adrian enjoyed every second of the Venice bridal shoot, immersing himself in the surroundings and atmosphere of the city, luxuriating in the chic and sensual city of romance.
Adrian told me that the trend for pre– or post-wedding Bridal Shoots has really taken off recently. “No-one in Venice is catering for this type of client.
“We have great demand from Malaysian and Chinese couples as it’s quite popular in Asia… We also have couples who had wedding photo disasters and come to ourselves to give them some art in great surroundings.”
