I love today. I’ve been blogged again by the lovely Viv at Poppy Sparkles!
I was chatting to Viv on Twitter last week, late one night I think and I may have had a little glass of wine that evening. So the interview on her blog is, I think, quite a personal one. Viv asked some quite revealing questions: what made me start my own business, for example. Reading back over what I told her, it’s made me quite thoughtful today. And happy.
Viv — thank you.
Viv runs Poppy Sparkles, offering beautiful handmade bridal and special occasion jewellery. Her trademark pieces feature lovely pearls and crystals, and she’s a prolific jewellery designer with new pieces appearing on her blog as well as at www.facebook.com/poppysparkles on Facebook, in the Poppy Sparkles shop on Folksy and on Etsy too!

All this publicity is well deserved, I think you’ve worked really hard on this site and kudos for being brave enough to step up and say “It’s not going the way I wanted, so here’s how it’s going to change.”
You have lovely features and a charming, unimposing authorial voice. Keep up the good work!

Congrats on the fab interview, I really enjoyed reading it.
I am currently working in marketing (how strange) and it just doesn’t make me smile like weddings do. I am hoping to start my own wedding planning and events business after my wedding in June 2011. I hope that I can be as successful as you… Great blog x
