While I'm beavering away behind the scenes trying to make the pages behind this website more substantial (they're a little flimsy, at best, so far!) I have come across some great wedding suppliers, one of which is PapaKåta.
I'm writing a section about wedding venues just now, and while there's a lot still to add before I can show you (only the wedding venue advice section is live) I couldn't wait to write about wedding tents and tipis.
I emailed tellmemore@papakata.co.uk to ask if I could write a little bit about them in the section of this site with wedding venue advice. I got a really lovely email back from Sally at PapaKåta, with gorgeous photographs of their wedding tipis, and I couldn't resist blogging about them, especially so I can include all of the great images she sent to me!
Sally told me a little about PapaKåta:
"Here at PapaKåta we’re are responsible for providing teepees for the most unique and magical events, we specialize in hiring out Kåta tents — teepee style tents that were pioneered by the Sami people of Lapland.”
“As a family run business the company prides itself on its personal customer service and ability to provide something completely different for your special occasion.”
“With prices comparable in cost to hiring a standard marquee, PapaKåta’s luxury teepees not only provide a beautiful open plan venue for summer and spring weddings, but the addition of reindeer skins and crackling open fires create an intimate and inviting space for Autumn and Winter Weddings as well.”
