Brendan and Maria were married in May at the De Vere Hotel in Belton Woods, Lincolnshire. Maria’s striking looks caught my eye — she has gorgeous long hair done beautifully for her wedding day — so any brides with long locks, this one’s for you!
The wedding photography is by Courtney Louise, who is based in Lincolnshire and as well as doing weddings is a fantastic fashion photographer (have a look at Courtney Louise’s Facebook page if you have a minute).
Maria’s hair is gorgeously curled, pinned with little flower clips and so fantastically shiny! I think it’s beautiful and these pictures show it perfectly for anyone who’s off to the hairdressers for their trial. No wonder she’s smiling — she looks delighted.
The white roses and freesias fit with this week’s theme for the blog — the addition of black ribbon is subtle and ties in with the reception decoration.
I love this! The little page boy is sooooo cute in his suit. This really is a great looking wedding photo.
(From the hands it also looks like they’re lined up in goal for a penalty, and the little one is too keen and doesn’t understand the risk…)
This picture is full of great little details. The bride is strong and leading the way. Bridesmaids adjust their dresses, the little boys in white are so cute… but two things make this picture for me: the May blossom in flower, and — how glamorous is the lady in black?! I love her dress — she’s stunning. This is a great look for a wedding guest or mother of the bride — stylish, classy and oh so elegant.
Thanks to Courtney Louise for sharing this wedding. There are some pretty inspiring pictures here, and as this was a short blog why not pop over to Courtney Louise’s website to see more of her wedding photography.
Tomorrow at 4pm — wedding ideas inspired by this weekend’s two features. If you like white, black and sophisticated, you’ll enjoy what’s coming tomorrow.
