I love a win­ter wed­ding! There’s some­thing indul­gent and excit­ing about get­ting mar­ried on a crisp winter’s day, and our won­der­ful Eng­lish stately homes are the per­fect set­ting for cer­e­monies and cel­e­bra­tions alike.

Jade and Lee Bald­win were mar­ried at Wort­ley Hall in Barns­ley, South York­shire. The pho­tographs of their wed­ding cap­ture the atmos­phere of the day so beau­ti­fully, from exquis­ite details: Jade’s bou­quet, the won­der­ful horse and carriage! to quiet moments shared by the beau­ti­ful bride and her groom in the glo­ri­ous grounds of Wort­ley Hall.

If you’re plan­ning a win­ter wed­ding in Eng­land, be sure to cater for a bit of weather. The white umbrel­las Jade and Lee used on their day are a pretty addi­tion to their pho­tos! A lit­tle rain adds lus­cious colour to the out­door pho­tographs, and this lush green shot is a stun­ning image and a credit to Mark’s tal­ent with the camera.
