The perfect English summer wedding - a beautiful sunny day and gorgeous, colourful wedding photos to treasure!
This latest wedding was submitted by Lisa Dawn Photography and is such a visual treat! Bride Anna and groom James were married in August, at St Mary's Church in Weston-Super-Mare. Their reception was at Huntstile Organic Farm.
Lisa Dawn is a wonderfully creative photographer with a great talent for spotting little details of your wedding day: the photograph above was taken on a visit to the farm before the wedding, which sums up the cheerful and relaxed atmosphere of this unusual wedding venue.

Groom James waits with his best man, while the bridesmaids have their photograph taken - and how gorgeous are those dresses! Love the colour.
The groom waits patiently for his beautiful bride to arrive, and the bridesmaids stop for a quick photograph before bride Anna makes her entrance...

Bride Anna looks beautiful in her sparkling wedding dress and veil - and Lisa captures a memorable moment at the altar during the wedding ceremony.
Anna wore a vintage style dress with bead detailing, which flatters her slender figure. The wedding car was a 1927 Packard from local wedding car company Vintage Wheels. Lisa's photo from the end of the wedding ceremony captures that "we're married!" moment - it's a great one to look back on and I think this photo is very special.
I always smile at a confetti photo! I love the colour, the movement and the determined flower girl, every time!

The reception is a laid back, colourful celebration and this photograph sums up the atmosphere.
I love this aspect of Lisa Dawn’s wedding photography. A photograph like this just sums up the feel of a wedding reception. The sun shone, guests relaxed in the sunshine and enjoyed the atmosphere of the farm…

Anna and James share some special moments in the farm grounds…while Anna and James have a few photos taken on the farm.
I love the bright, rich colours in these photographs. Lisa Dawn has a great eye for photograph composition — every shot is a delight, full of colour and captures a moment so beautifully.

A contrast in colour, this sepia toned image gives a timeless romance to the photograph of Anna and James after their wedding
When it’s important to record a special moment, and to create a formal wedding shot, Lisa has some tricks up her sleeve to keep the photographs interesting. I love the colours of this picture, and the tilting landscape (how did she do that?!) — which add interest to this picture.

Anna and James head back to the reception and Lisa’s photo takes in the expanse of gentle farmland, a lovely wedding setting.
Huntstile Farm is an unusual location for a wedding, but it’s perfect for photographs. Weddings should be about relaxing and enjoying the day — where better than in the heart of the English countryside!
Anna made up little jars of colourful sweets for guests — they add yet more colour to the day and fit with the farm’s bright and sunny appearance inside!
How romantic… I love this old romany gypsy style caravan at the farm. Lisa makes it part of the wedding day and doesn’t it fit with the bright and sunny feel of this wedding?
This wedding has been such a visual treat. I had to include this last shot — again taken before the wedding, but such a perfect fit — sweet peas in summer are so romantic and bright and colourful! I love that Lisa included this photograph with Anna and James’s wedding photos. It’s the lovely little details that make her work such a treat.

Lisa — thank you for sharing. This feature has been a treat to write, while it snows outside!
