Beautiful English Lake Windermere Wedding

The wed­ding car arrives via a typ­i­cal quiet lake­land road, past tra­di­tional pubs with hang­ing bas­kets and on to the church, where Kathryn joins Thomas at the altar for the mar­riage cer­e­mony. The church is St Mary’s in Kirkby Lons­dale, a lovely church which dates from Nor­man times.

The recep­tion was held at Crag­wood Coun­try House Hotel, one of the most mag­nif­i­cent venues in the whole of the Eng­lish Lake Dis­trict. Located just two miles from Win­der­mere, the hotel is set in 20 acres of secluded gar­dens and wood­land, with views of spec­tac­u­lar lake­land fells.

The colour scheme for this clas­sic Eng­lish wed­ding was kept pure and sim­ple, and the end result is just fab­u­lous. The bridal bou­quet of white roses, the wed­ding cake and table dec­o­ra­tions are styl­ish and elegant.
